Many liberals believe that the solution to our massive national debt problem is to simply increase taxes on the rich and continue to spend more government money on social welfare programs. The top 1% of all income earners pay more than 50% of the taxes in this country.

Is requiring the rich  to pay MORE really the answer?

Republicans would prefer that government do nothing to help the people or provide any kind of regulation or oversight. Under the republican plan children would go hungry, roads and bridges highways and national infrastructure would crumble and disasters like the BP oil spill would be common occurrences. Education for our children would be cut to the bone. Gifted students would not receive any loans or grants for college and funding for research that has made America the best most innovative nation on earth would be cut if not completely eliminated.  This doesn't sound like the country I am proud of.

Are you kidding me!!! You paint every Republican (elephant) as a bad guy. Children would go hungry, their schooling would be cut, national infrastructure will crumble.
While socialist programs that the Democrats (donkeys) create have no effect on the economy. To believe that Donkeys and their programs are in the best interest for the country is to compare apples to oranges.
Most cities vote on the Donkey side why? Handouts; bottom line. The cities can't support themselves, population to jobs. Look at Detroit Bill Gates couldn't throw enough money at the Motor City to try and get it going again. Detroit is a Donkey controlled city and look where it's at today. Not to mention New Orleans, Chicago, New York City crime rates.
If this is the America your proud of the may God Bless your soul.
I do not beleive that raising tax's on anyone will help. Goverment has got to get a grip on were they are throwing our money. It costs money to pick fights.

  1. All of this talk of a shutdown is crazy, I understand the issue the USA has with the taxes and walfair cuts;but I honestly think that this is to wake some of us up to the realitys of life; however the cuts being made are harsh and a lot of family's will suffer, and a lot of forhers are gonna rais **** trying to provide.. But is this what they want, or is there a motive behind this! Are they keeping are attention off of another issue at hand? I think so...   IG me @queenmiat

A healthy national economy is based on how many middle class there are.  Does anyone know, what is the optimum goal for a nation when it comes to the number of middle class?  50%, 60%, 70% or 80%
