It is not possible to e-mail the President directly. Persons interested in contacting the President must go to the website Whitehouse.gov and click the "SUBMIT COMMMENTS ONLINE" hyperlink. There is one challenge question asked after clicking the SUBMIT COMMENTS link before the User arrives at a "Contact the White House" form that must be completed. This form is probably the result of the large number of Users desiring to contact the President or other members of the White House staff and previous less regimented methods offered online. NOTE: In the past after submitting a question, feedback or comment to the President, a confirmation e-mail would be sent to the User containing a second hyperlink that also must be clicked to CONFIRM the e-mail was intended to be sent by the owner (or principal user) of that e-mail account. This is an integrity check to insure messages sent to the White House are originating from "real people" and also provides the User with an opportunity to change their mind and NOT complete the Contact process (i.e. if the second hyperlink is not clicked, the submitted comments will not be delivered).
