I believe from what I understand there is board who will determine which proceedures should and should not be offered to specific age and demograpic groups.  I believe this is one of the problems with the law.  When government gets involved, they may make decisions for everyone which will not always fit the needs of everyone.

There is no limit to the potential costs of healthcare. We could spend the entire Gross Domestic Product on healthcare and still not do everything possible. Every system has a way of setting limits. Medicare and Medicade benefits have always been set by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. That is not going to change because of Obamacare. So, who do you want setting limits, a board of physicians and civil servants, or that warm hearted CEO of your insurance company?

ACA is not for people on Medicare! The same rules that applied for Medicare before Obamacare still apply.
